Starting the summer weekend with the Pixar Pier, which is now open at Disney California Adventure is like Splash Mountain-riding affair or a Dole Whip-filled. The soon-to-open land is based on a variety of characters and also cinematic storylines from the vast library of Pixar’s films that will bring the restaurants, new shops, play areas, entertainment and meet-and-welcome to Disney California Adventure’s waterfront scope along with two re-conceived attractions.

Pixar Pier will represent four themed neighborhoods from favorite Pixar films! The first neighborhood will be inspired by “The Incredibles!” The Incredibles neighborhood, called “Incredibles Park,”   is home to the “Incredicoaster,” a thrilling roller coaster adventure where guests will get to help the Parr family on a mission to catch baby Jack-Jack!

• Heimlich’s Candy Corn Toss is a guest toss big candy corns into the Heimlich’s open mouth. 

• WALL-E Space Race is a game which is inspired by the dance scene in space from the “WALL-E”.

• Bullseye Stallion Stampede is a horse racing game!

The final and fourth neighborhood of the Pixar Pier, which is known as the “Inside Out Headquarters” which is of course inspired by the Pixar fan favorite. This area is on the far west end of the Pixar Pier and it will feature the brand new attraction to open at a very later date.

Paradise Gardens, Ariel’s Undersea Adventure, Silly Symphony Swings, The Little Mermaid, Goofy’s Sky School, Jumpin’ Jellyfish and Golden Zephyr attraction will remain what they  are at present, but their “land” will now be named as the “Paradise Gardens Park.” 

Food at Pixar Pier

Now it is the time to chow down on all of the very new snacks based on the Pixar Pier theme. The locale is all filled with the several new Pixar-inspired kiosks and the walk-up windows, as well as the full table-service confectionery and a restaurant.
